Premise: the rules of the game for this variant remain unaltered and reference is therefore made to the general Casinò di Venezia regulations that regulate the Punto (Player) Banco (Banker).
Cards that are intended for the Punto can be read by the player.
The Dealer, after having ended the game by saying the phrase “Rien ne va plus”, extracts from the sabot, one after another, four cards face down (distribution), assigning the first and the third to the right to the Punto, the second and the fourth to the left to the Banco.
Once the draw has been made, the Dealer collects the two cards that play for the Punto and places them, without uncovering them, on the table in front of the client who during that hand bet the highest sum on the Punto. In the case of equal bets, the Dealer gives priority according to the “order of the players”, starting with the possessor of the “Bottone” (Button) whose function is to determine the order of precedence in the reading of the cards. The “Buttone”, assigned to seat #1 at the beginning of the game, is passed to the next player after eachhand, excluding the “Colpo in Bianco” (White Hand).
If no player bets on the Punto, the hand is completed by the Dealer.
The assigned cards are read and placed on the mat.
The player to whom the cards are assigned must discover immediately if they have scored 8 or 9 (beaten), leave them covered and ask for a card if they have a score from 0 to 5, leave them covered and stand if they have totalled 6 or 7 . As indicated in the Rules table.
Requesting a third card or standing must be clearly stated by the player by declaring “card” or “no card”.
After the player’s declaration at the Punto, the Dealer uncovers his cards and closes his game in compliance with the Rules table. The player at the Punto must uncover his cards demonstrating the score obtained. The Dealer indicates the winning box, announcing first the score at the Banco and then the score at the Punto.
The score is obtained by discarding the tens from the sum of the values of the individual cards. The aces are worth one point, the figures and the tens are worth zero and the other cards retain their nominal values.
If the two combinations are equal, the hand is declared null and the points on the Égalité (Tie) are paid.
Under no circumstances are arbitrary choices allowed to be made by the player at the Punto, the player must comply with the Rules table. If a Dealer or Player makes an error, the hand must be reconstructed in the presence of the Game Inspector and the Municipal Inspector.
