SINCE 1638, THE CASINÒ DI VENEZIA HAS EMBODIED A PASSION FOR GAMING, COMBINING HISTORY, CHARM, AND TIMELESS ELEGANCE

Founded in 1638 by decree of the Serenissima Republic, the Casinò di Venezia has been housed since 1950 in Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, an elegant Renaissance palace on the Grand Canal. Once home to doges and the final residence of Richard Wagnerit features frescoes by Palma il Giovane and Murano glass. Here guests can enjoy a wide range of games including French roulette, American roulette, card games and modern slot machines.

Formal or informal clothing is permitted for ladies. For gentlemen, decent and proper attire is required, allowing for casual yet appropriate style; during summer, typical beachwear such as shorts, tank tops, tracksuits, sandals, and flip-flops is not allowed. Access to the Privé requires appropriate dress, with a jacket recommended after 20:30. It is mandatory to leave overcoats, bulky jackets, suitcases, luggage, gym bags, umbrellas, and hats in the cloakroom. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry at its sole discretion, and animals are not permitted on the premises.

Admission to the gaming rooms of the Casinò di Venezia is strictly restricted to adults over the age of 18, who must present an original and valid government-issued ID, such as a national identity card, driving license, or passport.

The standard admission ticket costs €50 and includes a premium package of services: a €20 non-convertible gaming chip for table games or slot machine credit, full cloakroom service, a complimentary welcome drink, parking facilities (with a €10 contribution at the AVM parking for the Venice location), and the free shuttle boat service operating between Piazzale Roma and Ca’ Vendramin Calergi.

Guests staying at hotels in Venice are entitled to free admission, except on December 31st, provided that their hotel submits a written accreditation request to accoglienza@casinovenezia.it.

Free entry will be granted exclusively to guests whose hotels send the official confirmation by 6:00 PM on the day of the visit; any requests received after this deadline will not be accepted.

For the purchase of gaming chips, payments are accepted in both Italian and foreign currencies within the limits established by current legislation. Foreign currency exchange is available exclusively during table games opening hours. Payments are also accepted via major credit and debit cards, including PagoBancomat, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and CUP.

                  

The payment of gaming credits and winnings can be processed in cash within legal limits, by non-transferable checks made out to the customer’s order, or through gaming chips.

Dedicated cash desks, POS/credit card terminals, and ATM banking services are fully operational inside all Casinò di Venezia venues.

Regarding the use of cash, please note that current legal regulations are in force, establishing the statutory limit for cash transactions at €4,999.99.
